Do you know the anecdote told about Christopher and known as the “Story of Columbus’ egg”?

They said that one day he was tired of traveling the lands of Spain and Portugal, trying to get the money for his expedition, when someone place in doubt his theories about the shape of the earth.

"Do you see that egg overthere", asked Christopher. "Put it right”.

The man said: “Oh, sir, that’s impossible”.

Christopher took the egg, and knocking it slightly against the table, left it in an upward position.

"Oh, that way is very easy” the man replied.

"Yes, everything is very easy once you know how to do it. What it takes a little more effort is betting for something you really don’t know, but you’re fully confident of it!”, said Christopher.
