An American, a French and a Polish were riding along in a car in the Death Valley (Ca). Suddenly the car stops and the three of them decide to walk in different directions looking for help.

"Let us take with us whatever we think we could need" one of them says.

"Well, I will take a bottle of water, in case I get thirsty" the American says.

"I will take with me some food, in case I get hungry" the Frenchman says.

... and the Polish, without saying anything, dismantles the front right door of the car, and takes it with him.

"What is that for?" the other two ask.

"Well, I am taking this door with me because if I felt hot I would be able to lower the window!"
