The owner was training the apprentice when one customer came in.

"Could you give me a pack of laundry soap, please?"

The owner came back with the soap, and a bottle of glass cleaner. The customer said:

"Well, I really only need a pack of soap, what is the glass cleaner for?"

"See!", the owner replied, "while the machine is cleaning the laundry you can clean the windows saving time!"

"You are right, I'll take both, thanks"

"Did you see?", the owner said to the trainee, "we sold two items in spite of only one and the customer left happy!"

After a while another customer came into the shop.

"Could you give me a bottle of dish liquid, please?"

The owner came back with the dish liquid, and a another bottle of glass cleaner. The customer said:

"Well, I really only need the dish liquid, what is the glass cleaner for?"

"See!", the owner replied, "while the dishwasher is doing its job you can clean the windows saving time!"

"You are right, I'll take both, thanks".

"Do you see?", the owner said to the trainee, "once again, we sold two items in spite of only one and the customer left happy ! Are you learning?"

"Oh! yes sir!"

"Well!, I think I can leave you alone in charge of the shop while I am going for a coffee".

"Sure sir, take your time!"

While the apprentice was alone in the shop a woman came in and asked:

"Could you give me a pack of tampons, please?"

The apprentice came back with the pack of tampons, and a bottle of glass cleaner. The customer asked:

"Well, I really only need a pack of tampons, what is the glass cleaner for?"

"Listen!", the guy said, "for three or four days you are not going to do what you are not going to do, do not tell me you are not going to have time to clean the windows!"
