A friend of mine was teavelling and knowing that his girlfriend was in need of a pair of eyeglasses and being aware that Saint Valentine's was approaching, he came into an optician, look at different ones and finally found a beautiful and cheap pair, bought it, paid for it, but, as he was leaving the shop he mistook the packet for another very alike containing a pair of underpants that by sure another customer had forgotten.

Unaware of his mistake he went directly to the post-office to send the packet together with a letter for his girl friend.

The girl got the packet and stared at its contents. She started reading the letter which said:

"Dear Josie:

I hope you like the gift I’m sending to you, mainly because you were short of them.

Regarding the other you have been wearing them for a long time, and this is a thing you should change from time to time.

I hope I was right when I picked the model. The clerk told me that these ones were the latest fashion and showed me hers that were exactly the same.

Then, for me to be sure they were very light, I took them and fitted them right there. You cannot imagine how the clerk started to laugh because these feminine models are very funny when worn by a man, mainly in my case as slim as I am.

A girl staying nearby ask me to try them, he put hers off, put these on for me to see how they fitted. I saw them great so I finally decided to buy them.

Put them on and show them to your parents, brothers and sisters, in short, to all of your folks and everybody else to see how they like them.

At the beginning, you’ll feel a bit strange as you are used to wear the old ones, and mainly now you have been for so long time without wearing any.

If they fit small, please, let me know because if this is the case, they’ll leave a mark when you take them off to go out to the street and everyone will realize you have them.

Take also care they do not fit big, because if that were the case they will fall down while you’re walking. Wear them with care and, mainly, don’t forget them anywhere, as you are used to take them in your hand for everybody else to see your charms.

To end, I’m not going to tell you anything else but that I’m looking forward to seeing you wearing them. I think this is the best gift I could ever have given to you".
